He-Man are proud to support and be involved in events within the industry and community.
Driving Instructor Show – 2019
19th May 2019 – The Kent Event Centre
He-Man Dual Controls has invested in a new manufacturing facility in Bitterne, Southampton. The growth of national and international sales has pushed the company to expand its manufacturing capacity to handle this newfound demand.
Earlier in the year He-Man undertook the large-scale task of moving its operations across Southampton. The move was completed efficiently with business resuming within a few days. Whilst there has been some transition time, ongoing improvements and the new premises will reduce design time for new cars and manufacturing time for orders.
24th January 2019 - South West Business and Community Awards
He-Man were finalists in three categories of the South West Business and Community Awards. Whilst He-Man were not an outright winner, it was equally pleasing to be recognised both for our performance as a company and as a high level employer, something that is very important to the Management Team. The event was a great success, raising money for deserving charities.
2018 – He-Man appointed exclusive suppliers to Renault Tech
He-Man are proud to announce their appointment as the exclusive supplier to Renault Tech on a worldwide basis. The two companies have collaborated closely throughout 2018 to ensure strong foundations for a long term alliance, catering for dual controlled cars in both left and right hand drive markets.
Andy Appleby said “We are very proud to be working with Renault Tech. This is a credit to all our staff who have demonstrated the flexibility, product quality and customer service for which He-Man stands. We would like to thank our local French partner Pimas, who have worked very hard to help secure and support this contract.”
6th December 2018 – Manufacturing Champions Awards
He-Man’s pride at achieving four finalists for the UK Manufacturing Champions Awards was further enhanced as Phil Draper won the national award for unsung hero. At the end of a year where Phil had supported departments across the company and internationally, committing his own personal time on many occasions, he was a very worth winner of the award.
15th November 2018 – Vachon Driving School, Canada
Stephane from Eureka Solutions, along with Paul and Andy from He-Man, proudly deliver the dual controlled Chevrolet Bolt to Lise and Samuel at Vachon Driving School. The efficiency and performance of the dual control was highly praised, as was the excellent service provided by Eureka.
We wish you happy and safe driving. It was really good to meet you both.
The Big learner Relay – For 2018 Children in Need
In its 5th year, The Big Learner Relay will travel 3000miles. Driving instructors and pupils across United Kingdom have once again been taking part, and raising massive amounts of money for Children in Need.
The route will include Jersey, Northern Ireland and many areas within the UK Mainland. The grand Finale will conclude at the iconic Silverstone race track.
On Monday 12th November, Stuart and Richard from He-Man joined the Big Learner Relay 2018 team once again, for the start of the Southampton leg.
We set them off with a warm coffee and a bacon roll for the journey, as we watched the team head off to the next location.

1st February 2018 – MacMillan Cancer Support
He-Man employees have come together to raise £690 for MacMillan Cancer Support. Money was donated by every employee and also some family members. To show further support for those effected, employees also shaved their hair; some going extremely short, others going completely bald and braving the freezing weather.
We are very proud that everyone has come together to support this very worthwhile cause.
